Our eclectic design sense embraces color and a variety of styles. Curating the perfect mix of both vintage and modern elements allows our spaces to exude a sense of warmth and familiarity while still feeling fresh and current. We love to design all details of a space – considering everything from the shape and materials of the physical structure down to the smallest accessory – and we feel they are all of equal importance. We put just as much thought into selecting tile as we do the final layer of art and accessories, and all aspects of our designs are woven together to create unique spaces that tell a compelling story. Whether designing custom kitchens and bathrooms, or just selecting new lighting, paint colors, and furnishings, we offer full-service interior design, including project/construction management, to ensure all our thoughtfully considered design details are brought to fruition.
AMY LIND, PRINCIPAL DESIGNER & OWNER
Amy’s often colorful, eclectic aesthetic merges modern with hints of vintage charm, creating strikingly fresh spaces with playful, unexpected layers of interest. She attentively listens to her clients and translates their style sensibilities – along with her own keen eye for style, penchant for problem-solving, and affinity for detail – into spaces that are beautiful, comfortable, and functional. Many times, she acts as a mediator between couples with differing styles to seamlessly merge their style preferences and create spaces that they both love. Amy’s eclectic style is informed by all the places she has had the privilege of traveling to – from Morocco, to Portugal, to Italy, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, and places between. She has lived in a variety of locations across the country, including Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Savannah, which have all played a part in influencing her eclectic aesthetic.
After graduating from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in 2006, Amy initially spent a decade as a fine art figurative painter (www.amylind.com), during which time her paintings graced the cover of two national art magazines. Her paintings also illuminate the New York Times Best-Selling children’s book Marcel the Shell With Shoes On: Things About Me. In 2016, Amy followed a life-long passion for interior design and shifted her focus to the interior design industry. By 2017, she officially formed Amy Lind Interiors. Her time at SCAD, as well as additional studies at the Florence Academy of Art in Florence, Italy, combined with nearly two decades of experience as a full-time working artist and interior designer have equipped her with a unique perspective and broad skill set that sets her work apart from other interior designers. Amy has extensively honed her creative abilities and incorporates her vast expertise of the elements and principles of design into everything she touches. Needless to say, her masterful ability to create alluring images on canvas – taking into account the intricacies of color, texture, composition, form, etc. – translates directly to interior design, as seen in the captivating spaces that she conjures up.
